I’ve never been that much of an outdoor person, but the pandemic forced me to embrace the nature in my backyard. I didn’t haven’t a choice. I would walk to release my stress and I noticed that the sunshine, the elevated heart rate and the break from my house boosted my mood and took my focus off of the pandemic stress. I did a quick google search and the benefits of sunlight confirmed my experience! Here are some of the benefits of sunlight and the melatonin that it creates.

Take advantage of the sunlight. From opening your windows to going for a walk, find a way to soak up the sun!
